What the Bible Says About How to Be Right With God
1. Acknowledge and confess to God your sin.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23
2. Realize that your sin has real consequences!
"For the wages of sin is death," Romans 6:23(a)
There is Great News! The penalty for your sins was paid by Jesus on the cross!
“. . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23(b)
"But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us," Romans 5:8
3. You must turn from your sin (and to God)
"Repent, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord," Acts 3:19
4. Finally, you must confess, believe and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. . . Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved," Romans 10:9, 13
Would you like to ask God to forgive you and for you to be righteous in His sight?
“Dear Lord God, I know that I have sinned against you and am in need of forgiveness. I believe that your only Son Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins; that he was buried and arose the third day. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. Please come into my life and save me. From this day forward, I will follow you. I ask this in Jesus Christ, your Son’s name. Amen.

Welcome to the historic Egypt Baptist
Church! Established in 1816, our
church has a long history of community involvement and ministry in the Raleigh
and surrounding areas. As other churches have left the community to settle in
newer growing suburbs, we at Egypt Baptist have sensed God’s divine guidance to
remain committed to worshipping, ministering and sharing the gospel in this our
one and only location for over 190 years!
Please accept this invitation to be our guest
at Egypt Baptist Church as we worship, study God’s Word, grow in grace, and
serve the Lord together. We are a friendly loving community of believers
committed to living our faith daily. We are real people with real life’s
challenges, but have and serve a God who is real and faithful in our lives. We
hope that you will visit us soon.
Thanks so much and may God richly bless you,
Pastor Kevin Ferrell.
